Handling passwords 1-2-3, according to an IRC bot

I tried to explain a novice programmer how to handle passwords.

<Moo^_^> xxx: you store session in localStorage
<Moo^_^> not username and password
-*- xxx is new to this but I dev my own PHP apps which are kinda fancy !
<Moo^_^> only server-side contain password
<Moo^_^> and it must be only hashed password (MD5)
<Moo^_^> you never store password in plain text
